OBLHS OFFERS GRANTS to help school children visit lighthouses in their community. For information about or to apply for our STUDENTS' LIGHTHOUSE TRAVEL AWARDS, click the left button below.

 

    In 2016 Ms. Hadley W. Fulcher, the 4th and 5th grade teacher at
    Atlantic Elementary School in Atlantic, NC applied for and received
    an OBLHS Travel Grant for $48.00 to take 16 of her students to
    the Ocracoke Lighthouse.

 

OBLHS also offers grants to help other lighthouse organizations and communities to aid in their quest for preservation. Click the right button below for more information about our SPECIAL LIGHTHOUSE PROJECT GRANTS. 

 

    In 2016 the Old Baldy Foundation’s Lighthouse Learners Program
    received a $1,000 grant to support the Foundation’s Lighthouse Learners
    program  by providing matching funds to stimulate other groups to
   “Sponsor a Student.”
