Preparation for the 2013 Bodie Island Lighthouse Keepers' Descendants Weekend
October 18 - 20, 2013

In keeping with our mission, OBLHS held a homecoming for over 1,100 Cape Hatteras Lighthouse keepers' descendants in 2001 during a special weekend event. Because of its tremendous success, we are planning a homecoming October 18-20, 2013, for descendants of Bodie Island Lighthouse keepers. We wish to pay tribute to the faithful keepers and their families who served at this significant American light station.. We are looking forward to this event and its many exciting aspects. We will create a brief publication for the occasion as well as compile family history charts on your family groups for display and for you to keep. Our success is dependent on your participation!
